[Mary Piazza Zenkin]

Your name was given to me by Jeremy Fox, Globe Correspondent. I was hoping you can help me.

My father lost his mother in the Cocoanut Grove fire. The following day a reporter came to his house
and took a picture of him and his sister. It was published the next day on the front page of the

Boston American newspaper (my father believes that is the name of the newspaper).

My father, Walter Zenkin, is 82 years old and it would mean a lot to him to discover this picture. He also believes there may have been another picture of him in front of the church the day of his mother's funeral.

I greatly appreciate any help you may give me. My father continues to shed tears.
